Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Goodness, another journal already?! Well, I have to notify people that a kiriban is coming up don't I?

INDEED! IT IS TIME FOR KIRIBAN 15,000!!! You all should know the rules by now, catch a screen of the number and note it to me.  I'll draw you sommat, with certain minor restrictions.

Other things going on include reading a flurry of novels, mostly Discworld stuff, with one very odd one (The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse by Robert Rankin) and a random romance thrown in for good measure. Saw a few flicks, including Coraline, which I would have preferred to see without the magic of 3D, but that is just me (also, I like the movie FAR MORE than the comic thx!).  Also finally saw The Gamers and the sequel Dorkness Rising, oh they are low-budget magic and I nearly died laughing.  Watched live action Gegege no Kitaro, which is hilarious if you are into that kind of thing. Watched the whole of Ouran High School Host Club, which is really worth a watch, if you have not done so yet.

LOST IS BACK of course, so there goes MY Wednesday nights. XD  I hate to say it, but my fondness for crazy guys has got me liking Ben.  Oh, and of course Locke. Always Locke.  Jin is still prettiest though. :3

Also spend a week or two doing nothing but playing Odin Sphere. OH GOODNESS I LOVE THIS GAME.  There will be fanart, someday....*looks off wistfully into the future*

Needless to say, I have been catching up on all my Christmas DVDS and books and random other whatnots with very little REAL work getting done...horrible, I know.  The art-to-do queue is growing up nicely, with bits here and there graduating to finished.

I was wondering about Faraday as well, and if we will get to see him creeping out his future crush. Because that would make me happy in an evil and twisted fashion. Might also make me cry...but that is neither here nor there.

Oh Sayid will TRY, but we all know he can't succeeeeeeeeed. And I love little Ben. He should have kept wearing the glasses, it might hide the fact his eyes are trying to escape from his face. XD

The week drags and flies at the same time when new LOST eps are out, I swear. XD I have to admit, I didn't start from the beginning per say and ended up missed a bit in the middle due to school, but I am working on remedying that with the dvds. I was really surprised by it when my roomie forced me to watch/marathon the season 1 dvds. All the twisty bits and mysterious things really sucked me in. I love it.

D: OH MY GOD IT IS TRUE. BEN IS THE CHOSEN ONE. ...does that make Charles Widmore Voldemort? Or would that be Locke (baldie)?
