Whell, I was expecting it to happen some time in the year...and it did. My 4+ year old glorious magically awesome workhorse of a laptop died. Crash. Black screen of doom. Do not pass GO. Do not collect your files. Trip to Best Buy to see if they can retrieve anything is in order. Wheeeee. I don't think I lost anything I don't have elsewhere...but I am not sure and that annoys the hell out of me.

The part that really gets my knickers in a twist? Guess what I planned to do this COMING week? BACK UP MY HARD DRIVE. Yeah. Awesome timing I have.

*bangs head into nearby objects*

At least all my ART has backups on DoomTower™ (my shiny, newer, still has a few kinks desktop) so I didn't lose anything I have been working on. But I tend to sketch and prefer working on Lappy...so that makes me very sad inside.

I saw the new Miyazaki film Ponyo in a theater this weekend. OH THE COLORS. I have to admit, I love her dad. He is adorable. VERY ADORABLE. Journal title is my fave line. BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAA. Soooo cuuuuuuuuute. The whole darn film is adorable. It isn't a very deep movie in comparison to some of his others, I will say, but I don't care. Unless you count the ocean deep. Aha. Aha. ha. ha....ok I know. That was bad. I am almost sorry enough to hit backspace and do something about it...but not. I really wanna see it in Japanese now. UUUUuuuugh DVD come out faster!!!

Also saw G.I.Joe during the week. It was better than I expected, but I was not expecting much, so what does that say?

Got a hold of The Venture Bros. The Music of JG Thirlwell soundtrack thang...AND OH MY GOD IT IS A VINYL. A FRIGGIN LP! When I ordered the thing I didn't realize! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! LP! LP! LP! An excuse to use the turntable!! AHAHAHAHAHAAAA. Oh yeah, the music rocks too. XD

Whell...round one of is over, and I am really not that surprised to find myself not the winner. XP I still want to wish another congratulations, and if any of you who read this were rooting for me, please do pull for her in this round! She deserves the love!

So, I am out. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaah. At least I won't have to drive myself mad to do 2 more rounds worth of comic! Ahahahaha...ha...ha...erm...ya.

Oh yeah, forgot to talk about the fact I saw HP6. WELL, I don't wanna SPOIL anything, but I have a few general comments I guess:

Tom Felton is turning into quite the adorable little actor, and I don't feel bad saying that cuz he is only 2 years younger than me! NOT TOO CREEPY THEN! I think if he plays his cards right, he could become much like Rickman or Isaacs or Irons or a few others I could name, with a solid and very dedicated following who will find him amazing no matter what happens to him/his career. He may never be a HUGE name in film, but his fans' loyalty will never waiver and he will regularly get work. I really want this to happen so I can become one of those fans.

Rickman. Rickman. Rickman. I love you forever...but darn it...your Snape is the most luke-warm, tepid, boring thing I have ever seen. You make all his lines a drawling SEXY...but I want ANGER! CRAZY! SCARES YOU! UNHINGED!...not that sexy is not ok now and then...

They definitely took some slightly different turns than the book...but I am not sure if that is a bad thing or not yet. I only hope they SEVERELY DEVIATE from book 7.

Back to the normal stuff now then, I guess.
