Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Jolly Not-World's-End to you all! Things have been a bit stressful the last few weeks, so I'm a bit behind on the season's greetings. (You should see my Christmas cards. D: Still got some sitting on the worktable! orz

Anyhow, decided to jump on the Rise of the Guardians band wagon because the books are amazing. I enjoyed the movie as well, but I ADORED those books. Hence why I have opted for a more youthful Nicholas St. North attempting to subdue the mighty Krampus! (LOOK HIM UP! SUCH HOLIDAY FUN!) And because it will surprise NO ONE: Yes, there is Pitch art on the way. Mmmmmmm sympathy-for-villain.

More pencil work with colors in potatoship because I have too much fun this way. Critique is welcome.

Nicholas St. North belongs to William Joyce.
The Krampus belongs TO NONE.

That would be utterly epic, but I have the feeling if there is a sequel they will draw from the books (which are sadly lacking in Krampus thus far).

And thanks very much for the fave!

true. But it would still be utterly epic, despite the lack of krampus in books. As for faving, I have to say, you deserve it.

This is great! X) But it makes me think... The Krampus works for Pitch! Yes. :icondragonnodplz:

Oh absolutely. Really, the Krampus is very much like Pitch. Both force children into behaving through the use of fear.

And thanks very much for the fave!

First of all, I hate you! Why do you have the books?! And I donhohohon't! OK, sorry for the outburst. Who is the Krampus? Your (fantastic) picture made me wonder...

I'll let you in on a secret: I don't have the books, I got them from the library.

The Krampus is a monster from some Alpine countries who comes to punish/scare/take away naughty children when St. Nicholas comes to give good children presents. He is lotsa fun. Look him up a bit. ;D

Wow, I'm from an Alpine country and this is the first time I hear about him. Shame on me "-.-
